I sing for fun and I've no exceptional talent, but not only does Sheridan have this knack of making you feel like the most important person in the world when you're in the studio with him, he also manages to achieve things with your voice, that you never imagined possible. Can you teach a deaf child to sing? Yes, if you give them the self-belief that Sheridan does. We met Sheridan just after Emily had asked for a karaoke machine for Christmas, when she was twelve. Emily was born with permanent moderate-to-severe hearing loss in both ears.  When we met it was immediately apparent that Sheridan shared our belief that this should not prevent her from achieving anything she wants, although obviously some things are more challenging. Sheridan's enthusiasm for a challenge and profound love of music and people has been inspirational.
